PrimarySTeP research group
The research group on the new Nursing Professions Act
Under the umbrella of the Research Network Health, the research group PrimärSTeP has come together on the initiative of the stakeholders. The cross-university research group is concerned with research questions relating to the academic primary qualification of nursing, as made possible for the first time nationwide for nursing by the new Nursing Professions Act, which will come into force in 2020.
The research interest of the group focuses on general questions about the new training opportunities, their concern is not the respective sovereignty of the respective departments university-internal curriculum development.
The research group aims to make future research-based contributions to the development of the primary qualification, which is new for Germany, but also to the generalist training of nurses.
Possible areas of development would be, for example, the practicability of the legal standards, the increase in care security and the potential for covering existing gaps in care.
