The Institute for Management and Innovation (IMI) stands for scientifically sound research, a wealth of experience, close cooperation with its partners and a strong network. The core competencies of the institute are strategic management, innovation management, business development & internationalization and sustainability management.

The two scientific directors of the IMI, Prof. Dr. Dieter Thomaschewski and Prof. Dr. Rainer Völker, are guarantors for practical relevance and quality in research - together they look back on several decades of industry and university experience.

In the Research Network Health, Institute-associate Prof. Dr. Stefan Lacher contributes expertise in particular in the areas of social innovation, community-oriented business models and digitalization.
