kreuznacher diakonie Foundation & Health Research Network

Partnership in research and transfer

"Stiftung kreuznacher diakonie" is a church foundation under public law. Founded more than 130 years ago as a deaconess motherhouse, it is now based in Bad Kreuznach. It sees its diaconal mission as living Christian charity for people who need help and support.

Every day, around 6,800 employees work to ensure that the sick get well, people with disabilities are able to participate, children and young people develop well, senior citizens live as self-determined a life as possible, and people without a home can develop a perspective. In hospices, we accompany people in the last phase of life. The kreuznacher diakonie foundation offers a wide range of training and qualification opportunities in social and health care professions and stands for meaningful, social-diaconal services based on Christian values."(Homepage Foundation kreuznacher Diakonie)

The research network has been working with the kreuznacher diakonie foundation for several years. Common concerns are application-oriented model projects and transfer to support care. The conception of joint projects serves this purpose. In 2021, the Videovisite project started at the Haus Bergfrieden nursing home in Kirn, and was successfully completed in March 2023. The report on the closing event can be found here.  Information about the project is posted here.

Further joint projects are being planned, information will be provided shortly.
